Jimmie Foxx (1907–1967) was a legendary Major League Baseball first baseman and one of the most fearsome power hitters in history. Nicknamed „The Beast,“ he spent 20 seasons in the majors—primarily with the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox—and retired with the second-most home runs ever, behind only Babe Ruth. This is an estate find, card is in very good condition. Distributed by Dixie ice cream company in a promotion in the late 1930s.
